Application Security Manager (DevSecOps) Permanent

Our client is an international professional services firm, with over a 100 Cybersecurity professionals in the Netherlands aiming to grow their Cyber Security, Forensics & Privacy practice. This team works on creating a more secure society for major International and local organisations. As part of the team you will be working on leading and cutting edge projects covering the whole scope of Cyber Security.

About the role

Our client is looking for experienced managers/senior security professionals, who are passionate about cyber security, privacy and data protection in our digital world. You will need a broad understanding of the cyber security landscape in general, but specifically in application security. You will be advising/consulting our clients on all matters related to security during the SDLC.

The ideal candidate must have:

• A good knowledge of Agile secure SDLC
• Familiarity with vulnerability assessments & scanning tools and mechanisms (DAST, SAST)
• A DevSecOps mindset
• Experience in application security architecture
• Familiarity with automation, configuration and containerization tools such as Docker, Jenkins, Git, Kubernetes, Chef etc.
• Ability to communicate with different stakeholders (technical and non-technical)
• Excellent English (speaking, reading and writing)

 Nice to have:

• Experience working with development teams
• Past experience with penetration testing (or even red-teaming)
• Ability to read or write code
