Our client is a provider of storage and handling services operating a network of terminals located around the World, to facilitate the safe and efficient transportation of materials. Their team of 6 senior members is looking for an additional Cloud Automation Engineer. In this position you will be responsible for developing and implementing automation solutions to deploy and manage cloud infrastructure and applications. As a Cloud Automation Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain automated workflows that improve the efficiency, reliability, and security of their cloud infrastructure.

- Collaborate with developers to integrate automation tools for CI/CD into the development and deployment process.
- Set up and maintain backup solutions to ensure data is protected and can be easily restored in the event of a disaster.
- Configure and manage monitoring solutions to ensure the health and availability of cloud infrastructure and applications.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud automation technologies and trends.
The ideal candidate for this position has…
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud automation engineering.
- Proficiency in cloud automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong understanding of software development and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitLab.
- Experience with backup solutions such as Veeam.
- Familiarity with PowerShell or another scripting language.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Zabbix.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
