The purpose is to facilitate digital interconnectivity and seamless data communication that anyone who touches the industry can leverage. DCSA standards are developed in close conjunction with the member carriers who validate, align and agree to them and work with DCSA to ensure widespread adoption.

About the job

DCSA is a small but fast-growing, tech-savvy organisation. Our work demands an efficient, integrated, and up-to-date IT toolset. The toolset ranges from core productivity applications to analytics and DevOps. The toolset includes software engineering tools such as a CI/CD pipeline.

You will have the remit to set policies, influence the choice of products and business partners, drive change, and control part of the IT budget. DCSA operates from multiple locations in Europe with a hybrid working model. We have a single physical office in Amsterdam (Zuidas). There is no requirement in this role to deliver conventional “office infrastructure” (e.g. printers, fixed telephony, wifi, etc.) because DCSA operates from a serviced office. There is a requirement to provide occasional support for multimedia presentations and events. In this role, you will manage the IT support engineer and report to the Chief Information Officer.

DCSA has a fairly small number of employees (currently <50), but the IT toolset must support users from DCSA “members” and outsourcing parties. As such, the total number of users is closer to 100.

This role involves the delivery of a toolset used within the three core areas of DCSA IT:

• Productivity
• DevOps
• Web Presence

The current DCSA toolset is based entirely on SaaS using the following core products:

• Lenovo Windows Laptops
• Apple iPhone and iPad
• Microsoft 365 Business Premium (Office, Teams, Sharepoint, Intune, PowerBI, Power Automate)
• Salesforce
• Atlassian Suite (Jira / Confluence)
• Sparx Modelling Suite
• GitHub
• SwaggerHub
• AWS
• WordPress

Your responsibilities:

• Select, deploy, integrate and operate the IT toolset.
• Configure applications and infrastructure, acting as a hands-on system administrator.
• Define and implement service management processes
• Manage relationships with DCSA suppliers
• Manage costs and capacity
• Define and maintain the DCSA enterprise architecture model and CMDB
• Ensure that a secure toolset is delivered, working with the CISO
• Ensure alignment on DevOps, with the Senior Solution Architect and developers
