The Head of Product will collaborate with technology and development, marketing, sales, and customer service teams to ensure product success and market fit.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Strategy Development and Implementation: Defining, developing, and executing the product strategy and roadmap, prioritizing product features and initiatives based on business and customer impact.
• Leadership: Leading cross-functional teams by identifying new product opportunities, defining product features and the product development process, and ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
• Customer and Stakeholder Management: Interfacing with customers and stakeholders to gather feedback and incorporate it into product development.
• Product Life Cycle Management: Fostering innovation across and managing the product lifecycle, ensuring that products maintain competitive advantage and meet quality standards, user expectations, and business goals. Overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from concept through launch, including market research, design, development, and feedback loops.
• Product Enhancement: Monitoring and reporting on product performance, using data to drive product enhancements and strategic direction.
• Innovation and Research: Conducting market research and analysis to guide product development and positioning strategies.
• Go-to-market and Marketing: Integrating with marketing and sales to support product launches and go-to-market strategies.
• Product Financial Performance: Driving financial performance by managing product portfolio profitability, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Product Representation: Representing the company’s product vision in executive decisions, stakeholder meetings, and public engagements.
Accountabilities:
• Accountable for defining, developing, maintaining, and executing the product strategy for a specific product or product line, ensuring it meets customer needs and business objectives.
• Responsible for fostering a culture of innovation across the product team, ensuring the company stays ahead of market trends and competitors.
• Accountable for the overall performance of the product portfolio, including market share, revenue growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction metrics.
• Ensures effective collaboration between the product team and other departments (such as marketing, sales, and customer support) to align on product strategy and execution.
• Oversees the product development process from ideation through launch, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with the desired quality.
• Responsible for conducting and applying market research and analysis to inform product strategy and decisions.
• Accountable for integrating customer feedback into product development processes to ensure products meet user needs.
• Manages the product roadmap, prioritizing and communicating product initiatives and updates to internal teams and stakeholders.
• Responsible for leading, developing, and managing the product management team and promoting a high-performance culture.
• Accountable for managing the product development budget and resources effectively to meet strategic objectives.
• Acts as the primary point of contact for product-related communications with the board, investors, and key stakeholders, providing updates and strategic insights.
• Responsible for monitoring and reporting on key product performance metrics, using data to drive continuous improvement and strategic direction.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
• Product Portfolio Performance: Revenue growth, market share, and profitability of the product portfolio.
• Innovation and Development: Number of new products or features launched, percentage of revenue from new products, customer feedback, and the time to market for new innovations.
• Roadmap Delivery: On-time delivery of product roadmap items, percentage of roadmap goals achieved, and agility in adapting the roadmap based on feedback and market changes.
• Customer Satisfaction and Engagement: Net Promoter Score (NPS), customer retention rates, user engagement metrics (e.g., daily active users/DAUs, monthly active users/MAUs), and customer feedback scores.
• Product Adoption and Usage: Retention, Churn, Growth, Feature Adoption rate, ARPU
• Product Engagement and Interaction: User engagement metrics (e.g., session duration, frequency of use), conversation rate (task completion), etc.
• Product Feedback and Iterations: User Feedback collected, time to implement, iteration cycle time.
• Product Health Metrics: Performance indicators such as app stability, bug resolution times, and technical debt levels.
• Market Position and Growth: Market penetration, growth in new markets, and comparison to competitors in terms of market share and product offerings.
• Team Performance and Development: Employee engagement scores within the product team, turnover rates, and the success of leadership development programs.
• Strategic Alignment: Degree of alignment between product strategy and overall business goals, including progress towards strategic milestones.
• Operational Efficiency: Budget variance, return on investment (ROI) for product initiatives, and efficiency improvements in the product development process.
• Collaboration and Influence: Effectiveness of cross-functional collaboration, as measured by project success rates and feedback from stakeholders in other departments.
• Market Understanding and Response: Speed and effectiveness of responses to market changes or competitor moves, as well as success in identifying and capturing new market opportunities.
Attributes:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field, MBA recommended.
• Extensive experience in product management with a proven ability to lead product teams and deliver successful outcomes.
• Exceptional leadership skills and experience managing product teams.
• Deep understanding of market research, product strategy development, and customer engagement practices.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
