We are looking for a contractor to create an impact through our Project Director role. In this role, you will be instrumental in helping us achieve our ambitious goal of driving the adoption of electronic bills of lading (eBL). You will have once in a lifetime opportunity to shape the future of the global container shipping industry in a more efficient and sustainable direction by applying your skills and passion to digital transformation. Within the eBL initiative within our Digital Trade value stream, this role will engage, support, and drive the implementation and rollout of the eBL for the world’s largest ocean carriers.
As a Project Director, you will be working with a team of internal consultants and external subject matter experts from across the industry and the world. You will play a key role in driving the adoption and implementation of the eBL within. To be successful in this role, you will need to be an analytical and detail-oriented person as the challenges you will solve are complex and require you to collect, manage and disseminate information from several stakeholders at once.
The ideal candidate will have container shipping experience related to international trade, therefore a solid understanding of how the documentation process works. In order to successfully influence your stakeholders your stakeholder management and communication skills need to be superb, as you will juggle between fostering internal and external project participants and elevating the quality of our output.
