ABOUT THE COMPANY
Our client a logistics service provider storing, handling, and forwarding commodities. They operating globally, with offices, warehouses and terminals across the globe. For their Singapore office, we are looking for a project manager / scrum master as a restructuring of the IT teams will take place and Scrum will be implemented. We are seeking a dynamic professional to fill the dual role of Project Manager & Scrum Master. This unique position will be split equally, with responsibilities divided 50/50 between managing projects and leading scrum teams.
Qualifications:
* Project Manager:
o Prince2 Practitioner (required)
o PMP certification (optional)
o Proven experience in managing mid-sized IT projects with budgets up to 500k
o Expertise in project planning and reporting
o Proficient in budget reporting
o Skilled in leading Steering Committees (SteerCos)
o Strong stakeholder management capabilities
o Experience working with geographically distributed teams
* Scrum Master:
o Hands-on experience with geographically distributed scrum teams
o Experience coaching and leading immature scrum teams; proactive and hands-on
approach required
o Will manage 2 scrum teams, collaborating with another Scrum Master handling 2
other teams
o Bonus: Experience with Scrum in IT Infrastructure (Platform Engineering) teams (non-
software teams)
Responsibilities:
* Project Management:
o Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans
o Prepare and present detailed project reports
o Oversee project budgets and ensure financial accountability
o Manage relationships with stakeholders to align project goals and expectations
*Scrum Master:
o Guide and coach geographically distributed scrum teams to ensure Agile practices
are followed
o Provide hands-on support and mentoring to immature teams, fostering a culture of
continuous improvement
o Apply Agile principles to IT Infrastructure (Platform Engineering) teams, enhancing
team performance and project delivery
