Job description

For the Corporate Finance & Tax team responsible for the management of investments, we are currently looking for Reporting Specialist Corporate Finance.

The key responsibilities will be:

· Prepare the Solvency II files relating to investments activities, all designed in R-Studio;

· Prepare reconciliation between IFRS and Solvency II data, designed in R-Studio;

· Identify opportunities to improve the quality of reports (designed in R-Studio) as well as to achieve process efficiency;

· Affinity with various ways of reporting on investments or alternatively openness to learning it, providing strong technical and IT skills;

· Support on developing IFRS 9 and other reporting on investment assets, herewith using excel, Tableau;

· Create new reports regarding sustainability of investments and track development progress;

· Support investment team in ad-hoc queries and analysis, with various levels of difficulty;

· Liaise with various stakeholders in adapting internal systems and processes to the changes within the investment portfolio and in line with the external regulations.

· Given the small size of the investment team, further growth of this role (beyond described responsibilities) will be possible over time, provided the candidate’s willingness and openness to do so.

The ideal candidate will have the following profile:

· Strong technical background in programming languages;

· Proficiency in R-studio, or willingness to learn R language in a short period of time, based on the experience in similar programming languages;

· Proficiency in any other programming languages as well as advanced excel skills are welcomed;

· Proven track record in building tools automating generation of results in excel, R-studio or other programing languages;

· Excellent quantitative and analytical skills;

· Experience in designing and/or developing models (e.g. relating to market risk, cashflow or income projections) is welcomed;

· Being goal-minded towards efficiency, quality and practicality;

· Capable of working independently or with minimal supervision, but also being an effective team player;

· Affinity with investments and general knowledge of financial markets is an advantage;

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

· High school degree (or higher);

· Languages: good command of written & spoken English is a must.
