Our client’s innovative scale-up, which offers SAAS solutions for Anti Money Laundering regulations, is seeking a Senior Java Back-end developer to join their team. To fulfill this role we’re looking for someone who is independent, socially capable and can clearly communicate with stakeholders. You should have strong analytical skills, should be able to identify bottlenecks and proactively resolve them in a timely manner.

How you can successfully fulfill this role 

Your experience is built upon 4+ years of experience in Java and Spring framework development along with robust leadership and teamwork skills. Your responsibilities will include working closely with DevOps application “pods” in an agile environment to offer AWS-specific expertise necessary for delivering top-quality service. Moreover, you should possess a solution-oriented mindset, enabling you to solve problems efficiently and practically. Additionally, you should be proactive and an excellent communicator for an effective collaboration with the account manager and development team.

These are the (technical) skills you bring

• Experience building a range of services in a Cloud service provider (ideally
• AWS);
• Expert understanding of DevOps principles and Infrastructure as a Code
• concept and techniques;
• Strong understanding of CI/CD and available tools;
• Security and Compliance, e.g. IAM and Cloud
• compliance/auditing/monitoring tools;
• Ability to build strong relationships with Application teams, cross-functional IT,
• and global/local IT Teams;
• Experience maintaining internet-facing production-grade applications in
• virtualized environments (cloud computing platforms and services);
• Experience with orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes;
• Experience with scalable networking technologies such as Load
• Balancers/Firewalls and Web standards (REST APIs, web security mechanisms);
