Senior Blockchain Engineer Permanent

Our client, a dynamic and innovative trading company based in Rotterdam, is seeking a talented Blockchain Engineer to join their growing team. As a Blockchain Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of cutting-edge blockchain solutions with a focus on Solidity, DEX (Decentralized Exchange), and Smart Contract technologies.

Responsibilities:

Smart Contract Development: Design, develop, and optimize smart contracts on various blockchain platforms, with a primary emphasis on Solidity.

DEX Development: Contribute to the creation and enhancement of decentralized exchange protocols, ensuring security, efficiency, and seamless user experience.

Blockchain Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate blockchain solutions into existing products and platforms, ensuring compatibility and functionality.

Performance Optimization: Identify and implement performance improvements to enhance the scalability and efficiency of blockchain applications.

Security and Auditing: Conduct thorough code reviews and security audits to ensure the robustness and integrity of smart contracts and applications.

Research and Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in blockchain technology, exploring new tools, frameworks, and methodologies to drive innovation within the company.

Requirements:

Solidity Expertise: Proficiency in writing smart contracts using Solidity, with a strong understanding of ERC standards and best practices.

DEX Knowledge: Experience working with decentralized exchanges, including order matching, liquidity provision, and token-swapping mechanisms.

Smart Contract Experience: Hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and managing smart contracts on major blockchain platforms like Ethereum or Binance Smart Chain.

Blockchain Protocols: Familiarity with various blockchain protocols and consensus mechanisms, with a focus on Ethereum-based networks.

Programming Skills: Strong programming background in languages like JavaScript, Python, or Go, enabling seamless integration of blockchain applications.

Problem-Solving Abilities: Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical challenges and develop efficient solutions within the blockchain domain.
